Internal Communications Partner - Europe

About the Role

The Internal Communications team embedded within Human Resources and Management is dedicated to supporting communication needs across different audience sizes and complexities to foster trust and engagement among employees. Operating at an enterprise level with specialized regional teams covering AMS, EMEA, APAC, and China, this position focuses on partnering with teams across multiple European markets to manage a variety of priorities and business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as an internal communications specialist in Europe working closely with leaders and HR teams across divisions such as TikTok, Global Business Solutions, Global Brand and Communications, Product, Technology, Government Relations, and Data Governance Strategy.
• Act as a trusted advisor on internal policies and management philosophies, collaborating with HR, Performance & Incentives, Organizational Culture, and Employer Brand teams.
• Lead confidential and region-specific projects, ensuring clear, accessible messaging that respects local market regulations.
• Manage proactive and reactive communication related to significant employee sentiment moments, with a firm grasp of European cultural and legal environments.
• Create and implement communication strategies and programs at regional, country, and global scales that enhance employee engagement and organizational trust.
• Support Crisis Management initiatives across Europe by developing synchronized communication approaches with Physical Security and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate content preparation and logistical arrangements for regional All Hands meetings and local Town Halls.
• Collaborate with Global Internal Communications teams to align company-wide goals and employee sentiment management.

• Experienced professional with a track record in European markets and deep understanding of local laws and effective employee communication best practices.

• Creative and experienced in managing dynamic projects to improve communication impact.

Qualifications

• At least five years of professional experience in communications or a related area.
• Fluent English skills with outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Skilled storyteller capable of simplifying complex information for diverse audiences.
• Preferable skills include project management experience, ability to independently initiate and drive results, and comfort working in a fast-paced, multicultural global company.
