Job description
Role overview
Titan Wealth is a rapidly expanding wealth management firm operating in the UK and overseas. The business has developed a more effective and client-focused model designed to support advice-led wealth management and help advisers and their clients achieve their goals.
The company offers an energetic environment where individual initiative and team contribution are encouraged to create strong long-term outcomes for clients.
This is a newly established, high-impact position for an experienced Internal Communications Manager who will create, lead and develop the internal communications function across Titan Wealth.
Working with senior leaders, including the Executive Committee, you will design and implement an internal communications approach that keeps employees informed, connected and aligned during growth and transformation.
The role calls for a confident communications specialist with 5+ years of experience delivering internal communications programmes end to end, working with senior stakeholders, and applying best practice in channels, messaging and engagement.
You should be a strong storyteller who can bring the “One Titan” message to life for a workforce spread across multiple locations. A marketing qualification is not required, but practical experience is important. Experience in financial services is not essential, though work in a regulated environment would be beneficial.
Candidates may be based outside London, but regular time in the London office is expected because of the level of senior stakeholder interaction.
Key responsibilities
- Create and own the internal communications strategy so it supports the company’s wider goals, culture and values.
- Set up and manage an annual communications plan that reflects business milestones, people-focused moments and strategic priorities.
- Put in place the channels, processes and frameworks needed for clear, timely and consistent communication across the organisation.
- Draft, edit and deliver communications in multiple formats, such as company-wide emails, leadership updates, intranet content, briefing packs, video scripts and presentations.
- Oversee Titan’s internal communication channels, including the intranet, email and messaging tools, ensuring they remain current, useful and engaging.
- Develop an internal tone of voice that feels genuine, clear and aligned with the company culture.
- Partner with the Executive Leadership Team as a trusted communications adviser, offering strategic guidance and support for key messaging.
- Plan and execute communications for business change initiatives, including acquisitions, integrations, restructures and new ventures.
- Handle sensitive or complex topics carefully, using discretion, good judgement and empathy.
- Contribute to employee engagement activity such as town halls, all-hands sessions, leadership Q&As and recognition programmes.
- Work alongside the People & Culture team to strengthen the employee experience through onboarding communications and culture/value campaigns.
- Use feedback and communication data to evaluate impact and continually improve effectiveness.
- Build trusted relationships across the business and act as a dependable communications advisor.
- Collaborate with ExCo, shared services teams such as Technology, Marketing, People & Culture, Finance and Compliance, and client-facing teams to keep internal and external messages consistent.
- Support communications linked to strategic partnerships and sponsorships by turning external brand commitments into internal stories that build pride and engagement.
Experience and qualifications
- Substantial experience in internal communications, preferably within financial services, professional services or another regulated sector.
- A proven history of creating and delivering internal communication strategies in complex, multi-site or fast-growing organisations.
- Experience leading communications during significant change, including mergers and acquisitions.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to adjust style and tone for different audiences and channels.
- Strong editorial judgement and the ability to simplify complicated information into clear, engaging content.
- Marketing qualifications are not mandatory, but relevant hands-on experience is essential.
- Financial services experience is not required, although experience in a regulated setting would be an advantage.
- Interest or experience in wealth management, financial planning or investment management is desirable.
- Familiarity with intranet systems such as SharePoint and employee engagement tools would be helpful.
- Experience supporting communications for sponsorship or brand partnership activity is desirable.
Skills and attributes
- Strong senior stakeholder management skills with the confidence to advise and influence at leadership level.
- Creative storytelling ability and a talent for turning ideas into compelling communications.
- Excellent organisation and the ability to juggle multiple priorities while working quickly and maintaining quality.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how communication supports growth and performance.
- A proactive, self-starting approach with the ability to create new processes where none already exist.
- A collaborative mindset and a constructive, solutions-oriented approach.
What you will receive
- The chance to work in a fast-moving, high-growth business where your contribution will be highly visible.
- Direct exposure to senior leadership from the first day.
- The opportunity to build a function from the ground up with strong support behind you.
- Competitive pay and a discretionary bonus.
- Pension contributions.
- Private healthcare coverage.
- Hybrid working with flexibility to support work-life balance.
- Support for professional development and continuing education.
- Access to exclusive events through the company’s sports and corporate partnerships.
Company values
The team is expected to reflect Titan Wealth’s values of creativity, commitment and collaboration.
- Creativity: using fresh thinking, learning and new ways of working to improve efficiency and stay ahead of competitors.
- Commitment: contributing time, effort and energy to help drive change and go beyond expectations.
- Collaboration: working effectively with colleagues and partners to create smarter, more innovative outcomes and a stronger sense of achievement.
Terms and benefits
- Competitive salary.
- Employer pension contribution of 7.5% with a minimum employee contribution of 3%.
- 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays.
- Option to buy or sell up to 5 days of holiday.
- Office closure for 3 days over Christmas.
- Private medical insurance, group life insurance and income protection insurance.
- Hybrid working arrangement.
- Support for further education and training.
- Discretionary performance-based bonus.
- Confidential Employee Assistance Programme.
- 2 days per year for volunteering.
- A wide range of flexible benefits to choose from.
