About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Services Intern, you will engage with guests following strict Service Quality Review Standards, aiming to fulfill their preferences and craft memorable moments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare all necessary Food & Beverage mise-en-place tasks to support service operations.
  • Execute F&B service duties adhering to the restaurant's established service protocols.
  • Maintain proper hygiene standards throughout all operational procedures.
  • Engage with guests to understand and respond to their needs appropriately.
  • Coordinate closely with different departments to align with business requirements.
  • Process billing through the Point-Of-Sale system efficiently.
  • Conduct stock-taking activities for F&B inventory management.
  • Observe and gain knowledge about different roles in F&B such as bartending, stewarding, hostess services, service attendant, runner, bar-back, and kitchen operations.
  • Support the Manager with overall restaurant operations.
  • Understand and uphold the principles of Responsible Alcohol Service and Responsible Gambling.
  • Assist with any additional tasks or projects as assigned by the department.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Must be a full-time matriculated student with the internship contributing toward graduation requirements.
  • No previous experience necessary; comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Strong command of spoken and written English is required.
  • Detail-oriented, mature, resourceful, and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
  • Team player with the capacity to operate autonomously and collaboratively.
  • Operationally prepared for deployment.
  • Professional appearance and grooming standards.
  • Effective in planning and execution with good time management and communication skills.
