About the role
This internship sits within a varied and inclusive team in Singapore, supporting tax-related finance operations. The position focuses on preparing GST and corporate tax documentation, reviewing tax support materials, and analyzing transactions for tax treatment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly reports and compile the supporting paperwork needed for GST and corporate tax filings.
- Examine documents such as tax invoices, simplified invoices, credit notes, and import permits for GST claim purposes.
- Review monthly transactions to decide how they should be treated for GST return preparation.
- Assess general ledger entries to determine their income tax treatment for provisional tax calculations.
Education and eligibility
- Applicants must be full-time matriculated students.
- The internship must count toward school graduation requirements.
- Candidates should be studying Accountancy or Finance, or another closely related academic discipline.
Experience
- No prior experience is needed, as training will be provided.
Additional requirements
