Overview

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), a global leader in IT and business solutions with over 612,000 employees across 55 countries, is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer. This role involves designing and developing eLearning content leveraging instructional design principles, collaborating with experts, and managing projects across multiple Indian locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and apply foundational instructional design theories, models and concepts.
  • Collect and analyze training requirements effectively.
  • Develop instructional strategy documents outlining learning approaches.
  • Create storyboards and detailed design documentation to guide eLearning development.
  • Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather necessary content information.
  • Prepare Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Detailed Design Documents (DDD).
  • Stay current with emerging learning trends, including AR/VR technologies.
  • Utilize various eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Whatfix, SAP EnableNow, and WalkMe for content creation.
  • Produce course materials like work instructions, quick reference guides, simulations including recording and editing.
  • Formulate instructional strategies aligned with course objectives.
  • Engage with clients for gathering requirements and updating project progress.
  • Manage project timelines, resource allocation, budgeting, and ensure quality standards.
  • Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills; work independently while collaborating effectively within teams.
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask within a team environment and adapt to challenges with passion for learning new tools.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience: 6 to 10 years in instructional designing with exposure to application-based content.
  • Strong knowledge of instructional design models such as ADDIE, ARCS, and Bloom's Taxonomy.
  • Hands-on experience with various eLearning development software and simulation tools.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations including New Delhi, Noida, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Kolkata, Pune, and Hyderabad.

Eligibility

Open to any graduate candidates with relevant experience in instructional design.
