About the Role

We are expanding our global institutional sales team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with founders and our research team to introduce an industry-leading research product to the most discerning buy-side and corporate clients worldwide.

Job Duties
  • Spearhead institutional client development within your designated region, targeting hedge funds, long-only firms, multi-manager pods, and corporate strategy departments.
  • Engage directly with Chief Investment Officers (CIOs), Portfolio Managers (PMs), and sector analysts, converting inbound leads and leveraging your network for outbound opportunities.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle, from initial discovery and product demonstrations to trial periods, commercial negotiations, and closing deals.
  • Navigate the complexities of buy-side and corporate procurement and compliance processes, including due diligence questionnaires (DDQ), Material Non-Public Information (MNPI) protocols, and Master Service Agreements (MSA) or order forms.
  • Collaborate effectively with research and product teams to align client needs with product development and roadmap priorities.

Institutional Sales – Based in US (NYC / Boston / SF)

  • Possess 5–10 years of experience selling to US buy-side institutions; exceptional candidates with 3–5 years of experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstrate established relationships with PMs/CIOs at multi-manager pods (e.g., Citadel, Millennium, Point72, Schonfeld, ExodusPoint), large long/short funds, or long-only asset managers.
  • Have a relevant background in independent research, sell-side research/corporate access, expert networks (e.g., GLG, Tegus, AlphaSights, Third Bridge), alternative data, or financial data platforms like Bloomberg, AlphaSense, or FactSet.
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of buy-side compliance, MNPI restrictions, and vendor onboarding procedures.
  • Proficiency in English is essential, with native or near-native fluency preferred.
  • Possess genuine enthusiasm for the transformative potential of AI in professional investing.
