Role overview

We are looking for an Inspection Specialist to join a team in Dubai, UAE. The role focuses on quality inspection, compliance, and support for manufacturing processes in a controlled production environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Make sure quality systems and regulated manufacturing practices align with globally accepted standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 13485.
  • Support internal and external audits, along with quality-system tasks such as deviation management and corrective/preventive action follow-up.
  • Perform inspection and evaluation work using approved procedures, work instructions, and quality guidelines to protect product integrity.
  • Work with engineering and operations teams to find process, tooling, and workflow gaps and help drive solutions.
  • Confirm that products satisfy safety, performance, and reliability expectations before they are released to customers.
  • Act as a link between technical teams and operational staff to improve issue resolution and bring clarity to processes.
  • Assist with technical investigations, process validation, equipment qualification, and the launch of new tools or test systems.
  • Take part in continuous improvement efforts aimed at improving product quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
  • Use lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving methods to reduce defects and raise output quality.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical, Electronics, Biomedical, Automation, or a closely related technical discipline.
  • Prior exposure to regulated quality systems such as ISO 13485, FDA, or EU MDR is beneficial.
  • At least 2 years of experience in inspection, testing, or quality control in medical devices, electronics, automotive, or aerospace manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with defined test methods and inspection standards.
  • Familiarity with electrical measurement equipment and basic diagnostic tools, including test meters, oscillation-based tools, and high-voltage testers.
  • Background in identifying and resolving product or process issues is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, procedures, and documentation in English.
  • Working knowledge of core electrical measurement concepts such as voltage, current, resistance, and frequency.
  • Comfort with product testing setups and data analysis tools.
  • Exposure to calibration, verification, or reliability testing is an added advantage.
  • Capable of working in controlled production environments involving electronic systems.
  • Open to shift work if operational needs require it.
  • Must be medically fit for a manufacturing or production setting.

This is a full-time, onsite position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
