Innovation Strategy Manager, JAPAC, Google Cloud Consulting

About the role

This position sits within Google Cloud Consulting’s Professional Services team, which supports customers at critical points in their cloud journey so they can grow and adapt successfully. The team helps organizations evolve through Google’s global network, large-scale data center infrastructure, and software capabilities. In this role, you will partner with business customers to drive transformation, work closely with executive leaders and other stakeholders, and help shape the future of organizations using Google Cloud.

As the Innovation Strategy Manager for JAPAC, you will lead a team of transformation consultants, guide their short- and long-term direction, and be accountable for team outcomes. You will also support customers in accelerating business transformation through cloud strategy, innovation, and delivery leadership.

Minimum qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree, or comparable hands-on professional experience.
• At least 15 years spent growing and managing consulting practices and executive customer relationships.
• 10 years of experience across business transformation, cloud strategy and operations, cloud FinOps, and innovation.
• Background in business development, project scoping, budgeting, and leading enterprise professional services programs.

Preferred qualifications

• MBA or a master’s degree in computer science, a closely related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in cloud technology and the wider enterprise cloud market.
• Proven ability to lead organizations through large-scale, enterprise-wide structural change.
• Experience helping customers realize business value faster through cloud transformation initiatives.
• Experience delivering conference talks or publishing content on cloud transformation and strategy, cloud operating models, culture, data-led change, cloud FinOps, or innovation.
• Fluency in Korean to support client relationship management in this region.

Responsibilities

• Lead the JAPAC group of Delta innovation and transformation consultants, architects, and developers within Google Cloud Consulting.
• Shape and execute a growth strategy for the practice, including the creation, promotion, and delivery of services offerings and go-to-market initiatives, while owning services pipeline growth and business development results.
• Direct PSO Delta practice delivery for customer engagements and remain accountable for outcomes, ensuring projects and programs produce results that meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Build and maintain senior-level relationships with customer executives and stakeholders throughout professional services delivery.
• Guide the creation of industry thought leadership content produced by the PSO Delta team.
