Role summary

This position calls for an Industrial AI specialist who can architect, build, deploy, and operate advanced AI solutions for a range of industrial scenarios. The work centers on creating production-ready systems that help improve reliability, safety, operational efficiency, and overall performance. The role is hands-on across the complete product lifecycle, from solution design and model creation through deployment, integration, monitoring, and ongoing refinement. It is an individual contributor role with no direct team-management duties, but it does involve close collaboration and technical mentoring across functions.

What you will do

• Create and sustain Industrial AI products and applications for multiple industrial use cases and operating settings.
• Build AI/ML solutions for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, frontline diagnostics, corrosion forecasting, production improvement, and energy optimization.
• Develop intelligent digital assistants and autonomous workflows that support better industrial decisions and smoother operations.
• Convert business needs and operational pain points into scalable AI architectures and deployable technical solutions.
• Set up data pipelines, feature engineering flows, and model deployment frameworks that can support dependable AI operations.
• Connect AI solutions with industrial systems, operational technologies, and enterprise platforms while maintaining scale and interoperability.
• Track model performance, manage lifecycle tasks, and keep improving solutions so they remain accurate and valuable.
• Use MLOps and AI engineering practices to strengthen reliability, maintainability, and deployment efficiency.
• Run technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts, and feasibility studies for new Industrial AI methods and use cases.
• Diagnose difficult technical issues and provide expert input on solution design, implementation, and optimization.
• Help define reusable engineering standards, frameworks, and best practices that support technical quality and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with domain specialists, data engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions successfully and drive adoption.

Qualifications and experience

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is expected; a master’s degree is preferred. Professional certifications in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Platforms, Data Engineering, or MLOps are a plus. The role requires 8 to 12 years of experience in software engineering, data science, artificial intelligence, or machine learning engineering, along with practical delivery experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, utilities, or other asset-intensive environments. Candidates should have end-to-end experience across the AI lifecycle, including data collection, model development, deployment, and operational monitoring. Production-grade AI delivery experience is also required.
