About the role
This opportunity is with UnitedLex, a technology-led legal services and consulting company that works with corporations and law firms to improve legal operations, litigation support, intellectual property work, and analytics-driven services. The position is based in Gurgaon and is a work-from-office role.
The role supports global clients handling data breach and incident response activities. You will work with sensitive data while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and strong quality standards. The assignment is initially for 1 month and may continue depending on performance and business needs.
Work schedule and location
Shift timing is 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with a 5-day workweek from the office in Gurgaon, Haryana.
Compensation and benefits
The salary is 25,000 per month, which works out to 3,00,000 to 3,31,200 per year. Transport support is provided, including cab/transportation facility.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter resource for Data Breach Analysis (DBA).
- Review and manage matters for clients from the US, UK, and other jurisdictions for India delivery centres.
- Locate and capture personal information in electronically stored documents.
- Work with sensitive identifiers such as PII, PHI, and PCI.
- Maintain high quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Use client systems through remote access as required.
- Protect organisational and client information by keeping it strictly confidential.
Eligibility and requirements
This opportunity is open only to Computer Science Engineering students. Applicants should be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a recognised university or institution. Students in the 2nd or 3rd year of graduation are eligible, and candidates studying through distance learning or online mode may also apply.
Strong written and verbal communication, the ability to balance multiple complex timelines, sound decision-making, and careful time tracking are important. Attention to detail and the ability to carry out root cause analysis are also needed. Experience in building strong working relationships with colleagues and partner organisations is expected. Knowledge of Excel is an added advantage. Candidates with practical exposure to Data Breach Response or Incident Response will be preferred. Familiarity with breach notification and privacy laws related to data breach situations is useful but not mandatory. At the time of joining, candidates must have all required graduation or post-graduation degree certificates, or an official provisional/probation certificate issued by the university or institution.
