Job Overview

As an In-Store Visual Merchandiser at adidas in Singapore, you will craft captivating and brand-aligned in-store displays that enhance the customer experience, boost product visibility, and drive sales performance. Your role involves implementing visual merchandising strategies, maintaining store aesthetics, and ensuring all presentation elements are both creative and customer-focused.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out visual merchandising plans and guidelines to increase footfall and sales conversions.
• Design and set up seasonal window displays, interior store arrangements, and promotional signage.
• Ensure upkeep and relevance of visual components such as mannequins, shelving, and lighting fixtures.
• Perform routine store floor assessments to evaluate display effectiveness and apply necessary refinements.
• Track inventory levels to guarantee timely replenishment with attractive product placement.
• Communicate customer trends, preferences, and merchandising outcomes to the Visual Merchandising Manager.
• Support the Instore VM Lead in training store personnel on visual merchandising standards and optimal product positioning techniques.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated background in visual merchandising, ideally within retail or fashion sectors.
• Keen aesthetic sensibility combined with creative flair and meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with retail sales tactics and understanding of consumer behavior.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Competence in utilizing visual merchandising tools and display setups.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends, early mornings, and late evenings, particularly during store events or display changes.

Preferred Attributes

• Educational or professional background in fashion, interior design, or visual arts.
• Experience with planograms and software related to visual merchandising.
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and efficiency in managing time-sensitive tasks.
