Role overview

The Supply Services team at Mackay Base Hospital is looking for a permanent Imprest Officer to support the movement and control of clinical consumables and related products. The position focuses on receipting, distributing, delivering and managing imprest storage areas so supply chain services remain efficient and client-focused.

Supply Services includes Imprest Officers, Supply Officers and Purchasing Officers. The team works cooperatively to deliver sustainable services and align with the health service's core values. It supports an end-to-end supply chain function covering demand planning, warehousing and distribution.

Mackay Hospital and Health Service operates 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres, with more than 3,700 staff across an area of about 90,000 km2.
