About the Team

This position is part of the InfoSec | Access Governance team, which is responsible for developing and enhancing the access governance framework for all business lines across ByteDance. The role involves designing and building core access governance capabilities for a global internet company, integrating emerging technologies like Large Language Models and AI Agents into access governance practices, and transitioning access governance from a compliance-driven model to built-in capabilities.

Job Description

The Identity and Access Management Engineer will be accountable for establishing and maintaining privilege governance metrics, conducting systematic monitoring of indicators, and performing attribution analysis to measure the company's governance level and provide risk inputs. This role is responsible for constructing the company's privilege governance system, defining privilege risks, and implementing solutions to improve privilege management and collaborative capabilities. Key duties include writing privilege management regulations and policies, optimizing processes, and innovating management methods. The engineer will also manage the internal privilege management platform, developing operational plans, handling daily issues, and resolving business-related problems.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Statistics, Management, or Computer Science, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in security governance, access management, privilege governance, consulting, or security platforms. Strong communication and logical thinking abilities are essential, along with a steady and composed personality, a proactive learning attitude, and a team-oriented mindset. Candidates should be self-driven, results-oriented, enjoy challenging tasks, and be able to manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include experience with other internet technology companies in a privilege governance or identity access management role, and proficiency in using large models or data analysis.
