Job description

About Mavida Health

Mavida Health is a digital therapy and psychiatry service built to support women through major life transitions, including PMOS, PMDD, menopause, and the stages in between. The care model includes individual, group, and couples therapy, along with medication management. The company was co-founded and is led by reproductive psychiatrist Dr. Sarah Oreck.

As part of WPS Health Solutions, Mavida Health blends startup speed and independence with the backing and scale of an established healthcare organization. The team is small, adaptable, and mission-focused, so people have room to move quickly, make an impact, and help shape the company’s direction as it grows.

About the Role

The organization is hiring a full-time HR Specialist to lead recruiting efforts across the business while also supporting everyday HR operations. This person will own how the company attracts, evaluates, and brings in talent for both clinical and non-clinical roles, while also helping build the people systems needed to support a fast-growing team.

Talent Acquisition

  • Take ownership of end-to-end hiring for positions across the company, with the strongest focus on clinical roles such as master’s-level therapists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, and family nurse practitioners, as well as growth roles like business development.
  • Develop strong candidate pipelines in a competitive behavioral health market by using sourcing, networking, and relationship-building strategies.
  • Work closely with clinical and executive leaders to turn hiring needs into clear role definitions and effective search plans.
  • Understand clinical hiring requirements, including state licensure, multi-state practice, and the transition from offer stage through credentialing and payer enrollment so new hires can begin seeing patients smoothly.
  • Assist with recruiting for non-clinical openings in areas such as business development, operations, and marketing when needed.
  • Oversee job ads, applicant tracking, interview scheduling, and a candidate journey that reflects the company’s mission and values.
  • Help strengthen the employer brand so the organization can attract talent aligned with its purpose.

People & HR Operations

  • Manage onboarding and offboarding processes for employees and contractors.
  • Keep HRIS records current, accurate, and well organized.
  • Coordinate benefits administration, PTO, and leave handling.
  • Support compliance with multi-state employment laws and identify possible risks early.
  • Assist with employee relations, performance check-ins, and the creation of scalable, practical HR policies.
  • Be ready to handle a wide range of responsibilities beyond a narrow job scope.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in talent acquisition and/or HR, preferably in healthcare, behavioral health, or telehealth.
  • Proven recruiting success, especially in clinical hiring, is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of clinical licensure and a broad understanding of how credentialing and payer enrollment fit into the hiring process.
  • A proactive self-starter who is comfortable working independently and solving problems of any size.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal ability, and a sharp eye for detail.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Genuine interest in women’s health, maternal health, and/or mental health, plus a strong desire to help improve the current landscape.

Additional Information

This is a full-time remote role for candidates based in the United States. The compensation range provided for the position is $70,000 to $90,000 annually.

Diversity Statement

The company encourages applicants to apply even if they do not match every qualification exactly. It values a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace and welcomes people who are excited about the role and the mission.
