About the Role

Whizz HR is seeking a driven Human Resources Specialist to lead and manage payroll and oversee all HR department functions. This role focuses on supporting employees across different departments and ensuring HR initiatives operate efficiently and cost-effectively, fostering a positive workplace atmosphere. Ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-moving environments and wish to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain organizational work structure by regularly updating job descriptions and requirements.
  • Introduce and enforce new company policies effectively throughout the organization.
  • Define objectives for the HR team and monitor progress through measurable metrics.
  • Manage and update internal HR systems and databases continuously.
  • Advise managers and staff on company policies and procedural matters.
  • Suggest and implement new HR software solutions, such as performance appraisal tools, to meet personnel needs.
  • Address employee inquiries involving compensation, labor laws, and other pertinent topics.
  • Supervise the entire recruitment and hiring process to secure top talent.
  • Organize onboarding and training sessions preparing employees for their roles.
  • Oversee employee performance evaluation by aiding managers in coaching, scheduling management-employee reviews, handling grievances, and providing counseling.
  • Evaluate and maintain employee benefit programs and communicate details to employees.
  • Fulfill operational HR tasks by scheduling and assigning staff, and monitoring outcomes.
  • Maintain the daily workflow by updating hiring records in Excel to align recruitment efforts.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience as HR Operations Manager, HR Manager, or in a similar capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of employment labor laws and payroll management.
  • Practical experience with HR Information Systems.
  • Expertise in designing competitive compensation and benefits structures.
  • Ability to establish transparent and fair HR policies and enforce them effectively.
  • Exceptional analytical skills and sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficient in team leadership and personnel management.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or related discipline.
