About the Role

We are collaborating with a Haystack partner to fill the position of a Human Resources Generalist focused on manufacturing site operations. This role involves partnering with site leadership to develop and implement an employee engagement and culture strategy tailored to the workforce. The HR Generalist will manage the complete employment lifecycle using Workday, supporting onboarding, promotions, and career development pathways.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to design a robust associate engagement program and culture roadmap.
  • Manage all employment processes within Workday, including onboarding, internal career progression, and promotion tracking.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor and resource for managers, equipping them with communication tools to strengthen team dynamics.
  • Analyze workforce data using metrics such as retention rates and engagement indicators to inform continuous improvements.
  • Lead site-wide initiatives like employee recognition programs, morale-enhancing events, and community engagement activities.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of HR Generalist experience specifically in manufacturing or industrial settings.
  • Proficiency in Workday HCM and advanced Excel functions including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables for data analysis.
  • Proven skills in employee relations, talent management throughout the employee lifecycle, and engagement strategy execution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Energetic, hands-on approach with a commitment to being present and active on the factory floor daily.
