Job description

Overview

This role is based in Dubai at Marriott Executive Apartments, located on Al Thowima Street. It is a full-time, non-management position requiring onsite presence to support various Human Resources functions within the organization.

Role Summary

The Human Resources Executive will support management and leadership in handling employee relations by monitoring and tracking related issues, assisting in resolution and follow-up. This role ensures compliance with local, state, federal laws, and company policies during hiring and recruitment processes. The candidate will serve as a point of contact responding to employee and management inquiries about HR programs, policies, and guidelines. They will also maintain employee records accurately and assist with coordinating and administering annual employee surveys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and track employee relations issues, assisting in resolution and follow-up.
  • Support management and leadership teams in resolving Human Resources concerns.
  • Ensure compliance in recruitment and hiring processes with all regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Communicate HR-related policies, programs, and employee activities to staff.
  • Maintain employee documentation such as interview records and I-9 forms accurately.
  • Facilitate logistics, administration, and scheduling for annual employee surveys.
  • Manage telephone communications professionally and record messages.
  • Assist in various employee management activities including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching.
  • Adhere to company and safety/security policies; report accidents and hazardous conditions promptly.
  • Preserve confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Welcome guests according to company protocols and use professional communication standards.
  • Develop positive working relationships and collaborate to achieve shared goals.
  • Use digital systems to retrieve and enter work-related information.
  • Perform physical tasks such as moving or lifting objects up to 10 pounds.
  • Execute additional reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
  • At least one year of relevant work experience in HR or related fields.
  • At least one year of supervisory experience.
  • No specific licenses or certifications required.
