Position Overview
Join a dynamic People & Culture team as a Human Resources Coordinator in Sydney CBD, offering a 12-month temporary contract with hybrid work arrangements. This role involves hands-on operational HR support and complete ownership of recruitment processes to ensure a seamless experience for both candidates and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end recruitment activities: job postings, sourcing, screening candidates, coordinating interviews, extending offers, and onboarding new hires.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to achieve effective recruitment results.
- Manage the onboarding and offboarding workflow for employees.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee data and workflows within HR information systems.
- Address queries from employees and managers through the People & Culture mailbox.
- Assist with reporting, procurement, audits, and wider HR initiatives.
- Support administration of employee programs, learning sessions, and wellbeing activities.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as an HR Coordinator or similar, preferably within government or education sectors.
- Proficient in managing full-cycle recruitment and talent acquisition tasks.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Able to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Customer-focused mindset combined with strong confidentiality ethics.
