We are partnering exclusively with a well-established Irish-owned company specializing in logistics and supply chain management to recruit an inaugural HR Business Partner. Core Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee HR activities across Ireland, the UK, and other regions.
  • Manage employee relations, HR operations, and compliance matters effectively.
  • Enhance HR systems, streamline processes, and oversee reporting mechanisms.
  • Support leadership and middle management development programmes.
  • Build succession planning frameworks and strengthen organisational capabilities.
  • Implement engagement initiatives tailored to an operational workforce.
  • Coordinate and manage external HR and legal partners.
  • Develop and execute a scalable people strategy aligned with business growth objectives.

Candidate Profile

We seek a seasoned HR professional with a strong operational and commercial mindset, comfortable in a dynamic, founder-led environment. Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or similar industries is desirable but not mandatory.

  • Senior-level HR generalist or leadership experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment law and HR operational practices.
  • Experience working in organisations undergoing scaling or transformation.
  • Effective and credible stakeholder management capabilities.
  • High emotional intelligence with strong influencing skills.
  • A balanced approach combining strategic insight with hands-on delivery.
  • Expertise in process improvement and systems enhancement.
  • Resilient, collaborative, and pragmatic demeanor.

  • The role is predominantly onsite, especially during the first year.
  • Flexible start and finish times are supported.
