About the Role

We are seeking a detail-focused and highly organized Human Resources Assistant to join our team and help ensure efficient HR department operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing applications, and scheduling candidate interviews.
  • Communicate with applicants during the hiring process and prepare offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials.
  • Organize and maintain recruitment records and applicant tracking systems.
  • Manage new hire orientation and onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of employees.
  • Maintain accurate employee files with all necessary documentation.
  • Assist employees with HR-related questions and maintain employee records and filing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal standards by keeping records up-to-date.
  • Help monitor HR procedures and prepare reports and metrics for management.
  • Administer company policies, handbooks, and workplace guidelines.
  • Support employee engagement programs, training sessions, and company events.
  • Assist in employee performance review processes and development activities.
  • Coordinate internal communication related to HR announcements.
  • Build positive relationships with employees throughout the organization.
  • Manage calendars, correspondence, and meeting schedules for HR department.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain confidential personnel records.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager and leadership team as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with preference for Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong skills in organization and multitasking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Professional, approachable demeanour with a team-focused attitude.
