Role Overview
This is a remote, part-time HR and administration specialist opportunity supporting an expert network. The role is designed for someone who can contribute across HR operations, recruitment support, payroll coordination, policy work, and administrative guidance while working independently in a distributed setup. The expected commitment is 10 to 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with hiring activities and the onboarding experience for new team members.
- Coordinate payroll-related tasks and help administer employee benefits processes.
- Draft, update, and review HR policies to keep them compliant and operationally aligned.
- Prepare clear documentation and practical guidance on HR processes and best practices.
- Work with internal stakeholders asynchronously on workforce planning and administrative projects.
- Use HR knowledge to contribute to AI-supported research and enterprise-focused initiatives.
Requirements
- Hands-on background in HR operations, recruiting support, or administration.
- Working knowledge of payroll platforms, benefits administration, and compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Careful attention to detail with good planning and organization skills.
- Comfort working autonomously in a remote, project-based environment.
