Job description

Role overview

The Assistant Manager for Human Capital supports both the strategic and day-to-day delivery of key HR activities. This position helps shape and improve areas such as organizational development, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and policy oversight. It also contributes to wider Human Capital initiatives while keeping routine operations efficient, accurate, and aligned with company values and compliance expectations.

HR operations and employee lifecycle

  • Assist in rolling out Human Capital policies, processes, and systems covering joining, internal moves, promotions, and exits.
  • Keep employee data, agreements, and transaction records current in the HRIS.
  • Work closely with payroll, administration, and finance teams to ensure smooth employee support services.

Organizational development and structure

  • Oversee updates to job descriptions, grading structures, and organizational charts.
  • Support workforce mapping, succession planning, and organizational redesign work.
  • Partner with internal teams to collect input and confirm structural HR requirements.

Compensation and benefits

  • Help compare compensation, allowances, and benefit offerings against market benchmarks.
  • Track adherence to pay-related policies and assist with benefit renewals and periodic reviews.
  • Take part in implementing and checking performance-linked reward systems.

Policy governance and compliance

  • Prepare, review, and put into practice internal Human Capital policies in line with Saudi labor regulations.
  • Follow compliance activities and help maintain audit readiness across the function.
  • Act as a contact point for policy guidance and employee awareness.

Employee relations and engagement

  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and satisfaction surveys.
  • Assist with internal communication efforts and help promote a workplace culture built on openness and trust.

Human Capital projects

  • Contribute to cross-functional Human Capital projects and monitor progress against timelines.
  • Prepare leadership-ready reports, presentations, and HR analytics.
  • Maintain schedules, follow-ups, and documentation for strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or another related discipline is required.
  • Professional certification such as CIPD Level 5, SHRM-CP, or an equivalent credential is preferred.
  • Typically 5 to 7 years of progressively responsible HR experience, preferably within a group or diversified business setting.
  • Strong working knowledge of Saudi labor law and HR compliance requirements is essential.
  • Experience using HRIS tools and Microsoft Office applications is needed.

Additional requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources overall.
  • 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel.
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics.
