Role Overview
The HRIS Manager position entails overseeing the Human Resources Information Systems within the organization. This includes ensuring the system operates accurately, securely, and efficiently to meet the needs of both the HR department and the broader business. The role involves continuous improvement initiatives, managing upgrades, and integrating the HRIS with other platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the HRIS system ensuring its accuracy, security, and operational efficiency.
- Act as the main contact point for any HRIS-related questions, issues, or improvement requests.
- Handle the configuration, updates, enhancements, and integrations of the HRIS with payroll, time management, benefits, and other internal systems.
- Work collaboratively with HR, IT, and other teams to assess system requirements and propose aligned solutions supporting organizational goals.
- Ensure data integrity by maintaining accurate employee records, organizational reporting structures, and workflows.
- Lead projects involving system implementation, upgrades, and coordinate user acceptance testing activities.
- Create and update comprehensive documentation including system processes, training resources, and user manuals.
- Provide training sessions to HR staff and business users to optimize system utilization and adherence to best practices.
- Prepare and interpret HR metrics and reports to facilitate informed decision-making based on data analysis.
- Uphold data privacy standards and maintain compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
- Manage relationships with vendors and oversee service level agreements (SLAs) associated with HRIS providers.
