Role overview
This is a part-time remote HR Specialist opportunity supporting a client’s workforce operations. The position focuses on employee support, accurate recordkeeping, and helping the business stay aligned with labor regulations. Prior experience in human resources or a closely related area is needed.
What you’ll do
- Handle employee queries about benefits, workplace policies, and internal procedures.
- Keep HR files and personnel documentation complete, accurate, and confidential.
- Support both onboarding and exit processes for employees joining or leaving the organization.
- Track adherence to applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and compliance requirements.
- Work with management on workplace matters and recommend ways to improve HR processes.
Skills and qualifications
- Working knowledge of HR policies and employment legislation.
- Prior exposure to HR support work or a similar people operations role.
- Familiarity with HR systems, databases, or related software is preferred.
- Strong organization and time-management abilities.
- Careful handling of confidential and sensitive employee information.
Compensation
The payout for this role is $10 to $36 per hour.
