About the role
We are looking for a thorough, proactive HR Operations Specialist to support the HR function in Dubai. The position centers on payroll administration, onboarding and offboarding coordination, and general HR operational assistance throughout the employee journey. The right person will bring strong organization, clear communication, and a commitment to delivering reliable HR support.
Payroll and HR administration
- Assist with the monthly payroll cycle, making sure calculations and timing are correct.
- Keep payroll records and employee information current and well organized.
- Liaise with Finance to support payroll reconciliation and reporting.
- Respond to employee questions about payslips, deductions, and benefits.
- Make sure employee files, contracts, and supporting documents are accurate and compliant.
- Serve as the initial contact for day-to-day HR operations questions from employees.
- Update information in HR systems and prepare reports when required.
Onboarding and offboarding
- Draft and share offer letters, employment contracts, and related HR paperwork.
- Gather and check the documents needed from new joiners.
- Work closely with the Public Relations Officer (PRO) on visa processing and onboarding steps.
- Maintain an updated tracker for employee visa renewals and assign related follow-ups to the PRO.
- Set up onboarding plans and welcome sessions for new hires.
- Support offboarding, including final settlement coordination and exit interviews.
- Handle termination documentation and keep records complete and accurate.
HR operations and support
- Help drive employee engagement initiatives and internal communication efforts.
- Arrange meetings, interviews, and training sessions.
- Support HR projects and improvements to existing processes.
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Prepare HR dashboards, reports, and basic analytics.

Background required
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Finance is preferred. The role calls for 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in HR or payroll. Prior exposure to HRIS or payroll systems such as BambooHR or SAP is an advantage.
