Job description
Role Overview
The HR Intern will collaborate with the People, Performance & Culture (PPC) team to help with everyday HR operations and administrative work across the employee journey. This position offers practical exposure to key HR areas such as onboarding, employee engagement, HR administration, recruitment support, employee data management, and reporting. It is well suited to recent graduates who want to build a foundation in HR within a fast-moving corporate setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist with routine HR administrative and operational tasks.
- Update and organize employee files, records, and HR documents.
- Support onboarding by preparing paperwork and coordinating required onboarding steps.
- Draft HR letters, certificates, employment documents, and other employee communications.
- Handle employee information and HR records with strict confidentiality.
- Help the HR team compile reports, maintain trackers, and keep HR data up to date.
- Provide general administrative assistance and complete other duties assigned by the manager.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a similar discipline.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills at an intermediate to advanced level.
- Well-developed organization and time-management abilities.
- Careful attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a busy work environment.
- Comfort with spreadsheets, data handling, and report preparation.
- Genuine interest in building a career in Human Resources.
- Ability to manage sensitive information professionally and discreetly.
