Abbott Ireland Vascular Division - Clonmel
The Vascular division in Clonmel is a forefront player in vascular healthcare, innovating treatments for vascular diseases by integrating advanced medical devices and pharmaceuticals. This includes technologies for treating heart, carotid artery, and peripheral blood vessel diseases, potentially preventing severe conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, and critical limb ischemia.

Role Overview
The Talent & Capability Generalist will be responsible for supporting and coordinating talent development initiatives within a major manufacturing site. This position is instrumental in fostering a culture of lifelong learning by administering programs such as Course Funding, Lifelong Learning initiatives, Succession Planning, Talent Management, and various Development Programs.
The candidate must excel at administrative duties and data analysis, showcasing advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, dashboards, and data visualization). The role demands adeptness in managing extensive datasets for accurate reporting and insight generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate Talent & Capability efforts, providing administrative backing for training and development activities.
- Support scheduling, tracking, and reporting for multiple training programs.
- Analyze large datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable insights and presentations for stakeholders.
- Manage logistical arrangements for both internal and external training sessions, including overseeing venues, materials, bookings, and attendance records.
- Keep meticulous training documentation ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 7 qualification in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- Previous administrative or L&D support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or operational setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
- Capability to interpret data, identify trends, and prepare comprehensive reports.
