Role Overview
The HR Generalist will support PROJXON’s everyday people operations in a part-time remote capacity. This role is responsible for handling core HR activities, assisting employees and leaders, maintaining records, and helping the organization stay aligned with employment laws and internal policies. The position also plays a key part in hiring support, onboarding, performance management, employee engagement, payroll-related coordination, and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Run routine HR operations and provide day-to-day support across the organization.
- Maintain accurate employee files and HR documentation.
- Help ensure HR practices follow relevant employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate recruitment steps and support new hire onboarding.
- Assist managers with performance management processes.
- Support employee engagement efforts and help foster a positive, inclusive workplace.
- Manage benefits-related administration, including employee communication and updates.
- Support payroll-related information flow as needed.
- Respond to employee HR questions and concerns professionally.
- Help address employee relations issues fairly and consistently.
- Work with leadership to improve HR processes and overall team experience.
Requirements
- Solid background in human resources and general HR operations.
- Good understanding of HR policies, compliance, and employment law basics.
- Experience handling employee benefits administration.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to build trust and communicate well with people at different levels.
- Comfort using HRIS platforms and standard office tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- High level of discretion when dealing with confidential information.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage several priorities at once.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in an HR Generalist or similar role, ideally in consulting or a fast-moving growth environment.
Eligibility
This role is intended for candidates based in the USA only. Applicants should be comfortable working remotely and able to commit to a part-time internship-style arrangement with the stated program requirements, including immediate availability, interview timing, onboarding window, weekly meetings, and the non-paid 6-month structure.
Additional Information
This opportunity is described as a flexible-schedule internship designed to fit around academic commitments. It is limited to a defined period and is intended to provide practical learning experience rather than replace paid employment. There is no promise of compensation or a future job offer after completion. The program is meant to offer educational exposure aligned with academic study.
Program Parameters
- Non-paid role.
- Duration: 6 months, or 180 days.
- Part-time commitment of 20 hours per week.
- Weekly 90-minute meetings are required in PST.
- Standing meeting schedule includes Monday and Friday company meetings at 10:00 a.m., Monday team stand-ups at 12:00 p.m., Wednesday professional development at 10:00 a.m., plus several one-on-one coaching sessions.
- Candidates must be able to interview by July 10 and begin supporting the team between July 15 and July 25, 2026.
