Position Overview
This role encompasses comprehensive human resources functions within SagePaths Global Education, based in Singapore. The HR Executive will lead initiatives spanning recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, policy compliance, performance management, and fostering corporate culture aligned with the organization's educational mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement recruitment plans to attract qualified candidates for diverse positions such as education consultants, marketing personnel, and administrative staff.
- Manage complete recruitment lifecycle including job advertising, candidate screening, conducting interviews, and checking references.
- Maintain an up-to-date candidate database for future talent requirements.
- Design and facilitate onboarding programs to ensure new employees integrate smoothly into the company.
- Coordinate training sessions to enhance staff skills particularly in areas like student advisory, communication with clients, and sales methods.
- Conduct orientations to familiarize new hires with organizational policies, culture, and operational procedures.
- Address employee grievances tactfully to promote a positive working atmosphere.
- Establish and oversee performance appraisal processes, incorporating goal-setting, feedback gathering, and performance evaluations.
- Create and maintain recognition programs to improve employee morale and retention.
- Develop, revise, and enforce HR policies in strict adherence to Singapore labor laws and industry standards.
- Ensure HR documentation including handbooks and manuals remain current and compliant.
- Maintain precise employee records covering contracts, personal data, and performance metrics.
- Generate HR reports and analytics focused on critical indicators such as turnover rates, recruitment duration, and training completion statistics.
- Coordinate general office administrative functions as required.
- Plan and implement employee engagement activities to nurture a supportive corporate environment.
- Conduct regular assessments through feedback sessions to gauge employee satisfaction and identify improvement areas.
- Initiate retention strategies aimed at minimizing workforce turnover.
- Manage workplace conflicts and crises with discretion, devising contingency plans for issues like resignations or disciplinary actions.
- Promote a corporate culture that emphasizes values including teamwork, integrity, and excellence.
- Organize initiatives that reinforce the organization's dedication to education, lifelong learning, and personal development.
- Integrate the company's vision and mission into everyday business operations and employee interactions.
- Support communication and collaboration across departments to build cohesion.
- Assist in crafting recognition programs that support organizational values and encourage positive conduct.
Application Criteria
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related disciplines.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in HR or similar roles.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
- Experience in corporate or educational HR environments is strongly preferred.
