Job Overview
We are recruiting an experienced HR Business Partner to work closely with business leaders to align HR strategies with organizational goals. Reporting to the UK&I Head of HR Business Partnering and collaborating with the UK HR Shared Services team, you will play a critical role in attracting, developing, and retaining talent while guiding managers across multiple Dublin sites, primarily based at the Dublin Port Tunnel. Flexibility in working arrangements and travel between sites is expected.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for managers on employee relations, including conflict resolution and collaboration with Trade Unions, fostering a positive workplace culture and escalating issues as needed.
- Understand and communicate business objectives to implement HR policies, processes, and initiatives effectively.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating influential communication skills.
- Monitor industry trends, best practices, and legal changes, integrating relevant insights into HR strategies.
- Support regular HR functions such as workforce planning, payroll, salary reviews, performance management, well-being, and employee engagement, ensuring adherence to people processes.
- Identify training requirements through discussions with functional leaders and performance reviews.
- Assist in delivering HR training programs in partnership with the UK HR Team.
- Coach managers to enhance their people management capabilities.
- Support remuneration policy implementation alongside the UK Head of HR Business Partnering.
- Use HR data and analytics to generate reports providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and present to varied seniority levels while influencing stakeholder decisions.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience managing HR functions across multiple locations.
- Comprehensive generalist HR knowledge with expertise in Employee Relations, Trade Union partnerships, and employment law.
- Capable of leveraging HR data and metrics to guide decisions and manage organizational change.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline is essential; a Master's degree or HR certification is advantageous.
- Between 2 to 4 years of progressive HR experience with a focus on business partnership roles.
- Expertise in Employment Law and hands-on experience supporting Employee Relations activities, including Trade Union engagement.
- Proficiency with digital tools and ability to analyze management information for practical application.
- Preferred qualifications include prior experience in an Operations & Maintenance environment, CIPD certification or equivalent at a senior HRBP level, and experience with Oracle HR systems.
