About the Role
Doltone Hospitality Group invites a passionate and driven HR Administrator to join our Head Office team. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or those starting their HR career looking to develop hands-on experience and broaden their knowledge across the human resources field.
Working closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer and the HR team, you will gain direct exposure to the full spectrum of employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee engagement, compliance, and ongoing HR projects. The position offers variety in daily tasks, perfect for career growth in HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the CHRO and HR team with routine HR administrative duties and people management tasks.
- Support recruitment efforts by screening candidates, organizing interviews, preparing contracts, and guiding applicants through the hiring stages.
- Coordinate onboarding and new hire induction to ensure a smooth and welcoming start for every employee.
- Facilitate offboarding procedures, such as managing exit interviews, documentation, and asset recovery.
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records, HR information systems, policies, and documentation.
- Provide general HR administrative support, managing communications and generating reports.
- Contribute to employee engagement activities including recognition programs, internal messaging, and events.
- Assist HR Business Partners with diverse projects and initiatives affecting both Head Office and venue teams.
- Help uphold compliance with employment laws, organizational policies, and workplace health and safety standards.
Candidate Profile
- Holds a recent tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience in administration, customer service, or internships; HR-specific experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Excellent organisational skills with careful attention to detail.
- Proactive and eager to learn with a positive approach.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools—Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint; knowledge of HRIS is beneficial though not required.
