Job Overview

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP is seeking to hire a Housing/Retail Worker at a lodge near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and order in various residential and communal areas, ensuring hygienic conditions for occupants.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out general cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing within specified time frames.
• Make beds and change linens according to a predetermined schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness of washers, dryers, and laundry facilities, including behind machines and clearance of dryer lint after each cycle.
• Sanitize washrooms, including showers, mats, sinks, toilets, and floors at every shift change.
• Consult the Daily Room Allocation sheet to complete any special cleaning assignments as needed.
• Report instances of damage, theft, or abandoned items to the supervising personnel.
• Follow all safety rules and company procedures diligently.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Prior housekeeping experience is required.
• Possession of a current and valid First Aid certification is considered an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, push, pull, or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Work Conditions

The position operates on a rotation schedule of 21 days on followed by 7 days off. Shifts may occur during days, nights, weekends, and include statutory holidays.
