Job description
Role Overview
The Houseperson supports the hotel’s housekeeping and public-area upkeep by responding quickly to guest and department requests and by spotting and reporting maintenance concerns in guest rooms and shared spaces. The role focuses on keeping guest areas, work areas, and the overall property clean, organized, and running smoothly.
Key Duties
- Collect linen supplies from the floor chutes.
- Keep housekeeping carts stocked and organized.
- Remove trash gathered by room attendants.
- Inspect assigned floors at the start and end of each shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, waste, and used linen.
- Bring in clean linen and replenish the linen par levels in each floor pantry.
