Job Overview
Join Comfort Inn New River as a Housekeeping Staff member, playing a key role in maintaining cleanliness standards across guest rooms, public areas, and the hotel's exterior to ensure guest satisfaction and support team objectives.
Primary Responsibilities
- Comprehend and uphold the cleanliness requirements for all rooms and suites.
- Consistently clean assigned rooms and suites in accordance with brand standards.
- Maintain organized storeroom shelves.
- Remove trash and soiled linens from rooms and suites promptly.
- Sweep and vacuum floors thoroughly.
- Identify maintenance issues and either report them or complete related work orders.
- Perform spot cleaning on walls, light fixtures, headboards, picture frames, and similar surfaces.
- Complete a detailed room checklist after cleaning.
- Vacuum hallways as needed to keep them tidy.
- Be physically capable of reaching, kneeling, bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling as required.
Additional Duties
- Exhibit a positive attitude that fosters team growth, hospitality, and a service-oriented environment.
- Greet guests warmly upon interaction with friendly phrases such as "hello" or "May I assist you?"
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor to support department functions.
