Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position is located in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. The Housekeeping Specialist is responsible for keeping guest rooms, common areas, offices, and service areas clean, sanitary, and organized. The role requires close attention to hygiene, careful handling of cleaning tasks, and prompt, courteous support for guests, customers, or clients when needed.
Key Duties
- Carry out routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Clean bathrooms and other wash areas to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Change linens and manage laundry-related items in line with company procedures.
- Replenish housekeeping and restroom supplies as required.
- Identify and report maintenance concerns or safety hazards promptly.
- Respond to guest or customer requests in a professional and efficient manner.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines without exception.
- Provide basic guidance to new team members when needed and support proper cleaning practices.
Required Qualifications
- Practical housekeeping ability, including room cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and keeping spaces orderly.
- Knowledge of laundry handling, including washing, drying, folding, and managing linens or uniforms.
- Good communication and customer service skills for polite interaction with guests or clients.
- Ability to follow instructions, training, standard procedures, and safety rules accurately.
- Prior experience in housekeeping, hospitality, or facilities services is an advantage.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderate weights for long periods.
- Dependable work style, strong attention to detail, and a clear commitment to cleanliness.
- Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills, along with the ability to understand instructions and safety signs.
