Role overview
Hyatt Regency Coconut Point is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector for its Bonita Springs property. The role focuses on checking rooms after housekeeping has completed cleaning to make sure the results meet Hyatt’s cleanliness and presentation expectations.
The ideal candidate brings prior housekeeping experience and can assess room quality carefully and consistently. This position calls for a high level of energy, strong attention to detail, and a meticulous approach to following brand standards. Good communication and interpersonal skills are important, since the role works across teams and requires clear coordination.
Key working relationships
This position partners closely with Housekeepers, Housekeeping Supervisors, and the Front Desk team. It also serves as the communication link between Housekeeping and Front Desk when rooms are cleared for guest arrivals and readiness for resort guests, owners, and VIPs.
Responsibilities
- Inspect rooms after cleaning to confirm they meet Hyatt’s standards for cleanliness and quality.
- Review room presentation and ensure details are completed to the required brand level.
- Coordinate with Housekeepers and Housekeeping Supervisors on room status and quality follow-up.
- Communicate with the Front Desk about rooms that are ready to be released for arrivals.
- Support the timely preparation of rooms for resort guests, owners, and VIPs.
Requirements
- Previous housekeeping experience is required.
- Ability to evaluate cleanliness and room quality against Hyatt standards.
- Strong attention to detail and a careful, methodical working style.
- Energetic and meticulous approach to daily work.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
