About the Role
Hyatt Place AlUla is seeking a seasoned Housekeeping Coordinator to join its pre-opening team. This role is crucial for supporting the efficient operation of the housekeeping department and ensuring seamless communication within the hotel. Hyatt Place AlUla is a new development featuring 215 guestrooms, multiple dining options, meeting facilities, a pool, and a fitness center, catering to both business and leisure guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff, including room assignments.
- Manage and respond to guest and staff requests related to housekeeping services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of room status and housekeeping operations.
- Facilitate effective communication between the housekeeping department and other hotel departments to meet operational demands.
- Assist in monitoring housekeeping supplies and contribute to inventory management processes.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication channels within the housekeeping team.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a housekeeping or administrative capacity, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Proficiency in organizational and coordination tasks.
- Excellent communication and multitasking capabilities.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong command of the English language for effective communication.
