About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Coordinator to join their team in Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite position is responsible for ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience by coordinating housekeeping operations. The role involves responding to guest and inter-departmental requests, identifying maintenance needs, and maintaining cleanliness standards. Responsibilities

• Promptly address and fulfill requests from guests and other hotel departments.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms to ensure timely resolution.
• Implement safety protocols by posting caution signs as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments for urgent repair needs.
• Deliver requested items to guest rooms and assist with furniture setup.
• Remove items from hallways, including debris, room service trays, newspapers, linens, and trash, transporting them to designated service areas.
• Maintain and store cleaning equipment properly.
• Adhere to all company policies regarding safety and security.
• Report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Complete required safety training and certifications.
• Properly store flammable materials.
• Ensure a professional appearance through a clean uniform and personal grooming.
• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to established company standards.
• Anticipate and address guests' service needs proactively.
• Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities.
• Express genuine appreciation to guests.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues.

• Physically manage objects weighing up to 55 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance.

• Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects.
• Manipulate objects with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate confined or elevated spaces and ascend/descend ladders.
• Maintain a standing, sitting, kneeling, or walking posture for extended periods throughout the work shift.
• Undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Saudi Nationals are specifically invited to apply.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and over 55 pounds with assistance.
• Proficiency in operating and maneuvering housekeeping carts and related machinery.
• Capability to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and working on ladders.
• Strong visual inspection skills for tools and equipment.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills for object manipulation.
• Comfort working in narrow, confined, or elevated spaces.
• Stamina to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an entire work shift.
• Commitment to following all company and safety/security policies and procedures.
• Willingness to complete safety training and certifications.
• Ability to maintain a clean and professional appearance.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to anticipate and address guest needs.
