Position Details
We are looking for a permanent part-time Housekeeping Attendant at our Deception Bay location, working Monday to Friday from 6 am to 11 am. This role is integral to maintaining a clean and hygienic environment that safeguards the health of our elderly residents.
Role Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and waste disposal in resident suites and common areas.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness to ensure a safe living environment.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to protect vulnerable residents.
- Work under the guidance of the Housekeeping Team Leader to contribute positively to the community’s atmosphere.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably in an Australian aged care setting.
- Possession of a current National Police Check.
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals and their effects on elderly health.
- Strong hygiene practices, good time management, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally.
