About the role

ibis Styles Geraldton, part of Accor’s global hotel network, is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Housekeeping Attendant to help maintain a clean, welcoming, and well-presented environment for guests. Based in Geraldton, Western Australia, this position supports the hotel’s commitment to warm service and memorable guest stays.

Accor operates hospitality venues across more than 110 countries, with a portfolio of over 5,600 hotels, resorts, and residences worldwide. The property in Geraldton aims to create a friendly workplace where team members can learn, develop, and contribute meaningfully every day.

What you will do

  • Keep guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and shared areas clean and aligned with brand standards.
  • Top up guest supplies, linen, and room consumables as needed.
  • Flag maintenance defects, missing property, and any safety-related concerns.
  • Support linen movement, stock restocking, and organisation of housekeeping storage spaces.
  • Care for housekeeping tools and handle cleaning chemicals safely and correctly.
  • Assist guests courteously and professionally when requests arise.
  • Follow hotel procedures covering safety, security, and guest privacy.
  • Work with other departments to help ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Contribute to Accor’s service culture by delivering genuine hospitality to both guests and coworkers.

What we are looking for

  • Housekeeping, cleaning, or hospitality experience is an advantage, though not mandatory.
  • A positive, service-minded approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on your own and contribute effectively in a team setting.
  • Good time management and organisational ability.
  • Commitment to high standards of cleanliness and guest service.
  • Physical ability to perform manual duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, and standing for long periods.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Valid Australian work rights.
