Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position entails maintaining cleanliness and preparing guest rooms, residences, corridors, and public areas according to hotel standards. Key duties include bed making, replenishing amenities, dusting, vacuuming, sanitizing bathrooms, and promptly reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. The role also involves handling laundry items, organizing housekeeping supplies, ensuring timely readiness of all assigned areas for guests, and interacting with guests courteously. The Housekeeping Attendant is expected to observe workplace safety and hygiene protocols and collaborate with team members as necessary.
Qualifications and Expectations
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure thorough cleanliness and room readiness.
- Good communication and customer service abilities to engage politely with guests and colleagues.
- Basic proficiency in laundry management, including correct sorting and care of linens and personal items.
- Willingness to participate in training to adhere to hotel standards and procedures.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or hospitality is advantageous, but entry-level applicants will also be considered.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift moderately heavy objects for extended periods.
- Basic command of the English language; additional languages are beneficial.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, in line with hotel operational needs.
