Role Summary

This full-time, on-site position in Ahmedabad is for a Housekeeping Attendant responsible for keeping guest rooms, corridors, and common areas neat, hygienic, and presentable. The role includes routine room upkeep, bed-making, linen changes, bathroom cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, restocking guest supplies, and reporting any repair or maintenance concerns. You will also assist with laundry-related tasks when needed, keep cleaning tools and carts arranged properly, and work in line with safety and sanitation standards. A courteous and professional approach with guests is essential, along with the ability to respond to requests and help maintain a pleasant stay experience throughout the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms, hallways, and shared areas at the required level of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Make beds, replace used linens, clean bathrooms, dust surfaces, vacuum floors, and replenish guest amenities.
• Report maintenance or repair issues promptly to the relevant team.
• Support laundry duties such as handling linens and sorting items when required.
• Keep cleaning supplies, equipment, and housekeeping carts organized and ready for use.
• Follow the property’s safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures consistently.
• Interact with guests in a polite, helpful, and professional manner.
• Coordinate smoothly with teammates and supervisors to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Qualifications

• Well-developed organizational ability to manage cleaning duties, prioritize areas, and store supplies neatly.
• Clear communication and customer service skills for respectful guest interactions and teamwork.
• Basic laundry knowledge, including sorting, handling linens, and caring for fabrics according to standards.
• Willingness to learn, accept training, and follow standard operating procedures and updated housekeeping methods.
• Prior exposure to housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar environment is helpful but not mandatory.
• Capability to carry out physically demanding work, including standing for long periods and lifting linens or supplies safely.
• Strong eye for detail, dependable work habits, and commitment to cleanliness, safety, and hygiene.
