Role Overview

The Housekeeping Attendant plays a key part in the Housekeeping Department, with a strong focus on detail and guest comfort. This role is responsible for maintaining exceptional room cleanliness and attending to guest housekeeping requests at the highest standard.

Key Duties

  • Deliver room cleanliness and comfort at a standard that aligns with hotel procedures and Forbes expectations.
  • Support internal guests and colleagues with a professional and service-oriented approach.
  • Respond to guest and internal complaints or enquiries politely and efficiently, and escalate concerns to the Supervisor, Assistant Executive Housekeeper, or Executive Housekeeper when needed.
  • Check and manage the daily cleaning chemicals and supplies required for housekeeping, and use all products safely and correctly.
  • Replace guest linen daily when requested, remove used linen, and keep pantries, storage cabinets, and toilets clean and orderly.

Talent Profile

  • Previous experience in a comparable position within a luxury hotel or resort.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a warm manner, and the ability to work well within a team while building positive guest relationships.
  • Basic spoken English.
  • Understanding of cleaning methods, chemicals, and different surface types.
  • Valid permission to work in Australia.
