Role overview

Bupa is looking for a Housekeeping Assistant for Maypole Care Home in Hedge End, Southampton. This is a 35-hour contract with pay ranging from £13.30 to £14.30 per hour, based on experience. The role sits within a care home environment where maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space is essential to residents’ wellbeing.

What you will do

• Keep the home clean and well maintained while working alongside housekeeping and maintenance colleagues.
• Carry out routine cleaning tasks across shared spaces and residents’ bedrooms, including vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and general upkeep.
• Track housekeeping supplies used for everyday duties and report any concerns or shortages to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
