The Bridles care home in Wincanton is hiring a Housekeeping Assistant to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for residents. The home is a modern care setting offering residential, nursing, and specialist dementia care, with thoughtfully designed spaces and a focus on comfort and connection.
Pay and working pattern
The position offers a permanent contract and can be either part time or full time. Pay is between £13.30 and £14.30 per hour, depending on experience. Working hours are either 32.5 hours per week or 13 hours per week, with shifts running from 08:00 to 15:00 or 11:30 to 19:30.
What you will do
You will play an important part in keeping the home tidy, safe, and pleasant for residents and colleagues. The role involves close coordination with housekeeping and maintenance teams and a strong focus on day-to-day cleanliness standards.
Key duties
- Keep the home clean to a high standard and work alongside housekeeping and maintenance colleagues.
- Clean communal spaces and residents’ rooms by vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and carrying out general upkeep.
- Monitor day-to-day housekeeping supplies and flag any concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
