Housekeeping Assistant

Role overview

We are looking for a Housekeeping Aide to join a healthcare team in Johnson City, Tennessee. The organization is part of a long-established, privately owned healthcare network with more than 200 facilities across the United States. The role is important to maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-kept environment that supports quality patient care.

What you will do

In this position, you will handle routine housekeeping work across the facility, following all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards. The work is centered on keeping the environment clean, presentable, and sanitary for patients, staff, and visitors.

• Dust surfaces and furnishings
• Vacuum floors and other areas as needed
• Disinfect assigned spaces and high-touch areas
• Polish surfaces and fixtures
• Empty wastebaskets and dispose of trash properly
• Clean rooms and common areas
• Refill supplies and amenities
• Mop floors and maintain overall cleanliness

Education and experience

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting is also preferred.
