Additional responsibilities
The Housekeeper may be asked to take on tasks beyond the usual assignment whenever needed to help maintain a high-quality environment for residents. Because this is a team-based workplace, the role also includes participating in training and supporting other departments or staff when assistance is required.
Core duties
- Collaborate with the Morning Pointe team to build positive relationships with residents and families.
- Provide weekly housekeeping support for residents, including changing linens, making beds, vacuuming, mopping floors, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, and dusting and polishing surfaces.
- Learn and respect each resident’s personal cleaning preferences.
- Keep shared areas tidy, clean, and welcoming.
- Regularly empty trash and waste from common areas.
- Follow safety rules, procedures, and workplace regulations while performing duties.
