Role overview
Skky Hotel is hiring a housekeeper to support cleanliness and guest comfort within a hotel, motel, or resort environment in Whitehorse, Yukon Territory. This position is carried out entirely at the work location, with no remote-work option available.
Language requirement
English is required for this role.
Education and experience
No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is needed. Prior experience is not required, as training will be provided.

This role is based in a hotel, motel, or resort environment and must be performed on site.
Key duties
- Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing.
- Remove dust from furniture and other surfaces.
- Vacuum carpets, area rugs, drapes, and upholstered items.
- Prepare guest rooms by making beds and replacing linens.
- Restock towels and toiletries for guest use.
- Keep linen storage areas organized and supplied.
- Sanitize and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
- Receive, log, and report lost-and-found items.
- Respond to guest requests for additional supplies or similar needs.
- Share basic information about hotel facilities.
- Collect debris and empty waste containers.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings as needed.
- Clean showers and changing areas.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns professionally.
