About the role

The Windmill is a well-known pub, restaurant, and 42-room boutique hotel located on Clapham Common. It is a dog-friendly workplace, so an applicant who genuinely likes dogs is essential. The resident pub dog, Monty, is often spotted on a bar stool.

The venue stays busy, so the right person should be comfortable delivering warm, high-quality service even during peak periods. The business serves beers, cocktails, and modern British seasonal dishes, including steaks sourced locally from Ginger Pig butchers.

What the role involves

As a Housekeeper, you will help maintain excellent standards throughout the property. The position includes looking after equipment, managing linen and guest supplies, and making sure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning work and special projects are completed on schedule and to a consistently high standard.
