Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this full-time position ranges from $52,000 to $75,000 annually, plus opportunities for bonuses. Benefits include a company-provided vehicle with a gas card, paid holidays and vacation, schedule flexibility, technological support including an iPad and access to the ServiceTitan system, and a back office team that manages customer scheduling and phone calls.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform small to medium home and commercial maintenance and repair tasks that vary in duration from a couple of hours to two days.
• Communicate clearly with customers to explain necessary work, set expectations on scope and cost, and provide recommendations.
• Ensure excellent customer experiences to build long-term client relationships by following the standardized Mr. Handyman Way process.
• Invoice customers accurately, manage material sourcing, and collect payments.
• Meet performance metrics such as high customer satisfaction scores, achieving revenue targets, maintaining effective billing rates, and delivering first-time quality work guaranteed for one year.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of paid handyman experience with demonstrable skills.
• Proficient in at least three of these areas: carpentry, bathroom and kitchen improvements, interior and exterior painting, drywall repairs, general plumbing and electrical (where permitted), and floor installation/refurbishing.
• Must own personal hand tools.
• Must be insurable to operate a company vehicle and willing to undergo background and driving record checks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and safely work at heights and overhead for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and diligent maintenance of the company vehicle.
• Residency within the local area is required.
